Personalities and History CERN-ARCH-PHOTO-GE-006

Photographs from Walter Oelert from the ATRAP experiment, circa 2000-2010

These photographs document the ATRAP experiment and its associated environment, combining images of experimental infrastructure with the people involved in its operation. The facilities shown include the AD (Antiproton Decelerator) Hall, where the experiment is housed, a Faraday cage used for shielding sensitive measurements, and top-view perspectives of the apparatus that illustrate the layout and complexity of the setup. Complementing these technical images are photographs of researchers and collaborators actively engaged in the work, including Walter Oelert with his wife Birgit, as well as Joseph Tan, Cody Storry, John Estrada, and Melissa Wessels.
