| Abstract | The author considers interactions of high-energy particles with nuclei which shed light on fundamental interactions. By high-energy he means wavelengths of both incident and produced particles which are short compared not only to nuclear but also to nucleonic dimension. He discusses coherent, incoherent and diffractive processes, multiple scattering theory, nuclear photoprocesses and processes induced by hadrons. (30 refs). |
