Energy-differential cross section of the $^{\mathrm{nat}}$C(n,p) and $^{\mathrm{nat}}$C(n,d) reactions was measured at the neutron time of flight facility n_TOF at CERN. The measurement was performed in the first experimental area (EAR1; flight path of 182.5 m). [...]

First $^{94}$Nb($n,γ$) Measurement: Constraining the Nucleosynthetic Origin of $^{94}$Mo in Presolar Grains / n_TOF Collaboration
Isotopic measurements of presolar silicon carbide grains from dying stars have revealed a puzzling overabundance of $^{94}$Mo that stellar nucleosynthesis models have failed to reproduce for two decades. [...]

Qualification of Gallium-Nitride High Electron Mobility Transistors for the 10 MHz Radio-Frequency systems in the CERN Proton Synchrotron / Gnemmi, G (CERN) ; Ohmori, C (J-PARC) ; Energico, S (CERN) ; Paoluzzi, M (CERN) ; Rossi, C (CERN) ; Ramberger, S (CERN)
CERN’s 10 MHz RF system in the Proton Synchrotron will be upgraded with a solid-state GaN driver, replacing obsolete RF tube amplifiers. Radiation qualification is essential to ensure reliable operation in harsh accelerator environments..

The Nuclear Astrophysics Program at the CERN n_TOF Facility: Results and Perspectives / Milazzo, P M (INFN, Trieste ; CERN) ; Lederer-Woods, C (U. Edinburgh (main)) ; Mengoni, A (CERN ; ENEA, Bologna) /n_TOF Collaboration
The CERN n_TOF facility is a research infrastructure specifically designed for studying neutron-induced nuclear reactions. Pulsed white neutron beams are delivered toward three experimental areas, two of them at different baselines to apply the time-of-flight technique, and another one very close to the neutron source for activation studies. Global impact of anthropogenic NH3 emissions on upper tropospheric aerosol formation / Xenofontos, Christos (Cyprus Inst.) ; Kohl, Matthias (Mainz, Max Planck Inst.) ; Ruhl, Samuel (Mainz, Max Planck Inst.) ; Almeida, João (CERN) ; Caudillo-Plath, Lucía (Goethe U., Frankfurt (main)) ; Cruz-Simbron, Romulo (U. Colorado, Boulder) ; Dada, Lubna (PSI, Villigen) ; Duplissy, Jonathan (U. Helsinki (main)) ; Ehrhart, Sebastian (Mainz, Max Planck Inst.) ; Finkenzeller, Henning (U. Helsinki (main)) et al.
Anthropogenic ammonia (NH3) emissions have significantly increased in recent decades due to enhanced agricultural activities, contributing to global air pollution. While the effects of NH3 on surface air quality are well documented, its influence on particle dynamics in the upper troposphere-lower stratosphere (UTLS) and related aerosol impacts remain unquantified. Measurement of the $^{244}$Cm neutron capture cross section at the n_TOF facility at CERN / Alcayne, V (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Kimura, A (JAEA, Ibaraki) ; Mendoza, E (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Cano-Ott, D (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Aberle, O (CERN) ; Álvarez-Velarde, F (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Amaducci, S (INFN, Catania ; INFN, LNS ; Catania U.) ; Andrzejewski, J (Lodz U.) ; Audouin, L (Orsay, IPN) ; Babiano-Suarez, V (Valencia U., IFIC ; Valencia U.) et al.
Accurate neutron capture cross section data for minor actinides are essential for the safe and efficient management of high level radioactive waste produced during the operation of nuclear reactors. In particular, 244Cm, with a half-life of 18.11 years, dominates neutron emission in spent fuel and also contributes significantly to the decay heat and radiotoxicity. [...]

Low-uncertainty measurement of the 239Pu(n,f) cross section at n_TOF in a very broad energy range from 0.02 eV up to 10 MeV / Sánchez-Caballero, A (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Cano-Ott, D (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Mendoza, E (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Alcayne, V (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Andrzejewski, J (Lodz U.) ; Capote, R (IAEA, Vienna) ; Cardinaels, T (SCK-CEN, Mol) ; Dries, P (SCK-CEN, Mol) ; Pérez, J García (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Gawlik-Ramięga, A (Lodz U.) et al.
The 239Pu(n,f) cross section was measured with uncertainties below 4 % from 20 meV up to 10 MeV of neutron energy at CERN’s n_TOF facility using a novel fission fragment detector with a 185.59 m flight path. Measured cross section was normalized to 1059(6) eV · b in the 9–20 eV energy range, and is consistent within uncertainties with the standard thermal value and the IAEA reference 239Pu(n,f) cross section.
