Evaluation of 3D pixel silicon sensors for the CMS Phase-2 Inner Tracker / CMS Tracker Group Collaboration
The high-luminosity upgrade of the CERN LHC requires the replacement of the CMS tracking detector to cope with the increased radiation fluence while maintaining its excellent performance. An extensive R\&D; program, aiming at using 3D pixel silicon sensors in the innermost barrel layer of the detector, has been carried out by CMS in collaboration with the FBK (Trento, Italy) and CNM (Barcelona, Spain) foundries. Study on discharge and short circuit generation in CMS GE1/1 triple-GEM detectors during Run 3 / CMS GEM Group of the Collaboration
The installation of the new GE1/1 station of Gas ElectronMultiplier (GEM) detectors in the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS)experiment was completed during the Long Shutdown 2 (LS2) phase ofthe Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The GE1/1 station has beenoperational in the CMS detector since the beginning of the Run-3data-taking phase, and for the first time the GEM technology wasdeployed on a large scale, comprised of 144 chambers and tested inrunning conditions as integral part of the CMS data acquisition, reconstruction, and analysis chain. Hybrid production status of the CMS Outer Tracker for the Phase-2 Upgrade / CMS Collaboration
The CMS Collaboration will exchange the whole silicon tracking system as part of the Phase-2 Upgrade. About 8000 two co-planar strip sensor (2S) modules and 5880 macro-pixel and strip sensor (PS) modules will be built for the new Outer Tracker, requiring 47520 hybrid circuits. [...]

Measurement of the background in the CMS muon detector in ${p}{p}$-collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ $\,\text {Te}\hspace{-.08em}\text {V}$ / CMS Muon Collaboration
The CMS detector, including its muon system, has been operating at the CERN LHC in increasingly challenging conditions for about 15 years. The muon detector was designed to provide excellent triggering and track reconstruction for muons produced in proton–proton collisons at an instantaneous luminosity ($\mathcal {L}$) of $1 \times 10^{34}$ cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$. Measurement of the fractional radiation length of a pixel module for the CMS Phase-2 upgrade via the multiple scattering of positrons / Tracker Group of the CMS Collaboration
High-luminosity particle collider experiments such as the ones planned at the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider require ever-greater vertexing precision of the tracking detectors, necessitating also reductions in the material budget of the detectors. Traditionally, the fractional radiation length ($x/X_0$) of detectors is either estimated using known properties of the constituent materials, or measured in dedicated runs of the final detector. The Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM) detectors of the GE1/1 station of the CMS experiment have been operated in the CMS magnetic field for the first time on the 7$^{th}$ of October 2021. During the magnetic field ramps, several discharge phenomena were observed, leading to instability in the GEM High Voltage (HV) power system. [...]

The upgrade of the CMS detector for the high luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) will include gas electron multiplier (GEM) detectors in the end-cap muon spectrometer. Due to the limited supply of large area GEM detectors, the Korean CMS (KCMS) collaboration had formed a consortium with Mecaro Co., Ltd. to serve as a supplier of GEM foils with area of approximately 0.6 m$^{2}$. The consortium has developed a double-mask etching technique for production of these large-sized GEM foils. This article describes the production, quality control, and quality assessment (QA/QC) procedures and the mass production status for the GEM foils. [...]
