Analysis of High-Energy Heavy-Ion SEE Results Through Standard-Energy Ion SEE Data / Sacristan Barbero, Mario (IES, Montpellier ; CERN) ; Slipukhin, Ivan (IES, Montpellier ; CERN) ; Söderström, Daniel (CERN) ; Emriskova, Natalia (CERN) ; Waets, Andreas (CERN) ; Bilko, Kacper (CERN) ; Prelipcean, Daniel (Unlisted, DE) ; Coronetti, Andrea (CERN ; Unlisted, DE) ; Kettunen, Heikki (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Sivertz, Michael (Brookhaven) et al.
This work presents the results of several single- event effect (SEE) measurements (bit upsets, latch-up, and burn-out) performed in two SEE testing facilities, European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) and NASA Space Radiation Laboratory (NSRL) (100–1000 MeV/n), using high- energy heavy ions. The results are compared with those obtained at other SEE facilities using standard-energy ions, Radiation Effects Facility (RADEF), UCL, and GANIL (<50 MeV/n). [...]

Study of Soft QCD Phenomena and Double Parton Interaction with the ATLAS Detector at LHC / Djama, Fares (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (FR)) /ATLAS Collaboration
Despite the success of perturbative QCD predictions at the high-energy regime, QCD itself remains mysterious at its nominal scale (QCD scale). The LHC offers rich opportunities to probe the core of QCD related questions, by studying minibias events, double parton interactions, small-x and diffractive processes, as well as correlations in hadronization processes. [...]

Charged particle and underlying event measurements with the ATLAS detector / Schmidt, Mustafa Andre (Bergische Universitaet Wuppertal (DE)) /ATLAS Collaboration
In this talk, recent measurements of distributions sensitive to the underlying event, the hadronic activity observed in relationship with the hard scattering in the event, by the ATLAS experiment are presented. Underlying event observables like the average particle multiplicity and the transverse momentum sum are measured for Kaons as Lambda baryons as a function of the leading track-jet and are compared to MC predictions which in general fail to describe the data. [...]

Underlying-event studies with strange hadrons in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
Properties of the underlying-event in $pp$ interactions are investigated primarily via the strange hadrons $K_{S}^{0}$, $\Lambda$ and $\bar\Lambda$, as reconstructed using the ATLAS detector at the LHC in minimum-bias $pp$ collision data at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV. The hadrons are reconstructed via the identification of the displaced two-particle vertices corresponding to the decay modes $K_{S}^{0}\rightarrow\pi^+\pi^-$, $\Lambda\rightarrow\pi^-p$ and $\bar\Lambda\rightarrow\pi^+\bar{p}$. Underlying event measurements at ATLAS / Hirschbuehl, Dominic (Bergische Universitaet Wuppertal (DE)) /ATLAS Collaboration
This talk presents ATLAS recent measurements of distributions sensitive to Underlying event, the hadronic activity observed in relationship with the hard scattering in the event. The rates and the total transverse momentum was measured for Kaons, Lambda baryons and their ratios as a function of the leading track-jet and is compared to MC predictions which in general fail to describe the data. ATLAS measurements of correlations between Υ mesons and inclusive charged particles / Aizenberg, Iakov (Weizmann Institute of Science (IL)) /ATLAS Collaboration
This talk presents a new measurement studying the relationship between the production of hard and soft particles through the correlation of Upsilon meson states with the inclusive-charged particle yields in 13 TeV pp collisions. Measurements are made differentially for Upsilon momentum and for different Upsilon states. [...]
