Searches for new physics with top quarks in ATLAS and CMS / Iemmi, Fabio (Beijing, Inst. High Energy Phys.) /ATLAS and CMS Collaborations
The latest results by the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations on searches for new physics phenomena involving the production of top quarks are summarized. Both direct searches for new particles and interpretations of Standard Model measurements in terms of the presence of new physics are reported..

Fabrication and characterization of Triple GEM detectors for HEP experiments / Giri Raj Mohan Sharma ; Dhingra, Nitish (Panjab U.) ; Chauhan, Sushil Singh (Panjab U.) ; Bhatnagar, Vipin (Panjab U.) /CMS Collaboration
Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM) detectors are advanced micro-pattern gaseous devices designed for particle detection in harsh radiation environments. The central feature of GEM detector is a thin metal-clad polymer (usually Kapton) foil chemically etched with a high density of microscopic bi-conical holes, where each hole acts as an individual proportional amplifier. Study of rare decays in the flavor sector at CMS / Buonsante, Marco (INFN, Bari ; Bari U.) /CMS Collaboration
Rare decays offer a unique window on the flavour structure of the Standard Model, as their strongly suppressed rates make them sensitive to small deviations induced by new physics. In this proceeding, we present CMS Run~3 results on rare decays in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13.6\,\mathrm{TeV}$, including the searches for rare $B_{(s)}^0\to\mu^+\mu^-\mu^+\mu^-$ and $\tau\to3\mu$ decays and the first observation of the $\eta\to\mu^+\mu^-e^+e^-$ decay..

Multiboson and VBS measurements in ATLAS and CMS / Folgueras, Santiago (Oviedo U.) /ATLAS and CMS Collaborations
A review of recent multiboson and vector boson scattering (VBS) measurements from the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations at the LHC is presented. Results are reported from precision diboson cross-section measurements, novel CP-sensitive and polarisation observables in $W\gamma$ production, VBS observations in semileptonic and fully leptonic final states including the first measurements at $\sqrt{s}=13.6\tev$, and observations of triboson processes. First look at $W^{\pm}W^{\pm}$ and $W^{\pm}Z$ vector boson scattering at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13.6 TeV / Ghimiray, Monika (NCBJ, Swierk) /CMS Collaboration
The measurement of the production cross-section for the $W^{\pm}W^{\pm}$ and $W^{\pm}Z$ channels at $\sqrt{s}=13.6$ TeV is presented using 171 $\mathrm fb^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data collected with the CMS detector during 2022-2024, in the fully leptonic final states in association with two jets. The electroweak $W^{\pm}Z$ process is observed with a significance of about $7\sigma$, while the electroweak $W^{\pm}W^{\pm}$ signal is established well above $5\sigma$..

Searches for other exotica / Koraka, Charis Kleio (Wisconsin U., Madison) /ATLAS and CMS Collaborations
A review of recent searches for exotic, beyond the Standard Model (BSM) physics signatures, performed by the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations is presented, covering results shown at the 60th Rencontres de Moriond Electroweak session. The searches discussed target unconventional signatures that go beyond the standard paradigm of high-mass resonances and large missing transverse momentum Heavy Neutral Leptons in W boson decays, exotic Higgs decays to pairs of scalars with unequal masses, Soft Unclustered Energy Patterns (SUEPs) in both hadronic and leptonic channels, s-channel production of lepton-enriched semi-visible jets, and a model-independent anomaly detection search in multi-lepton final states. Highlights of recent results from the CMS experiment at the LHC / Gallinaro, Michele (LIP, Lisbon) /CMS Collaboration
The first period of operations (2010-2026) of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), also referred to as Phase-1, consolidated the success of the standard model (SM) of particle physics, proving it to be an impressively accurate description of fundamental interactions. In particular, the discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012 and the measurement of its dominant interactions confirmed the 'Higgs mechanism' as an appropriate description of electroweak symmetry breaking (EWSB) within the current experimental and theory uncertainties. Physics objects in CMS Run 3 / Seidel, Markus (Riga Tech. U.) /CMS Collaboration
Abstract In these proceedings we review the reconstruction of the physics objects used by the CMS experiment during LHC Run 3 at 13.6 TeV, including charged leptons, photons, jets, and missing transverse momentum. The performance of physics object reconstruction and their calibration are critical for physics analysis. [...]
