These prototypes included positive and negative pre-amplifier, differential shaper, differential discriminator and LVDS driver currents, designed in 0.25 mum complementary metal oxide semiconductors (CMOS) radiation tolerant technology. The measured characteristics satisfied the requirements for operation in the LHCb muon systems.
