Res., A 0167-5087 Development of the CARIOCA front-end chip for the LHCb muon detector Bonivento Walter Jarron Pierre Moraes D Riegler W Dos Santos F 2002 491 233 24 The design and test of three prototypes of the CERN and Rio Current- mode Amplifier (CARIOCA) front-end chips for the LHCb muon wire chambers was presented. These prototypes included positive and negative pre-amplifier, differential shaper, differential discriminator and LVDS driver currents, designed in 0.25 mum complementary metal oxide semiconductors (CMOS) radiation tolerant technology.
