The existing chain of injectors (LINAC, booster, PS, SPS) will provide the necessary particles.&lt;P&gt; The LHC superconducting magnets will generate the highest magnetic fields ever reached in an accelerator of this scale. The dipoles and quadrupoles will be interconnected so as to form a continuous cryogenic "pipe" installed in the 27 km-long LEP/LHC tunnel with its separate cryoline. The superconducting RF accelerating cavities, along with the beam cleaning and beam dump systems, will complete the machine.</dc:description><dc:publisher/><dc:date>2001-07-01</dc:date><dc:source>http://cds.cern.ch/record/43241</dc:source><dc:identifier>http://cds.cern.ch/record/43241</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>oai:cds.cern.ch:43241</dc:identifier><invenio:conference.notes>Lepton-Photon exhibition of the XX International Symposium on Lepton and Photon Interactions at High Energies, 23rd-28th July 2001, Rome Italy.</invenio:conference.notes></dc:dc>
