Tau anomalous magnetic moment measurements at ATLAS and CMS / Volkotrub, Yuriy (Jagiellonian University (PL)) /ATLAS Collaboration
The anomalous magnetic moment of the tau lepton, as a_tau = (g_tau - 2)/2, serves as a sensitive indicator of new physics. However, its precise measurement is significantly more challenging when compared to the magnetic moments of electrons and muons. [...]

Precision measurements of the Standard Model with the ATLAS Experiment / Yu, Yi (University of Science and Technology of China (CN)) /ATLAS Collaboration
Precision measurements with the ATLAS experiment at the LHC are used to determine fundamental parameters of the Standard Model, and provide stringent tests of the electroweak theory and perturbative QCD. In this talk, extraordinarily precise double-differential measurement of the Z boson in the full phase space of the decay leptons at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV are discussed. [...]

Luminosity determination for the measurement of the total pp cross-section and the $\rho$-parameter with the ATLAS experiment at the LHC / Sanzani, Elisa (Universita e INFN, Bologna (IT)) /ATLAS Collaboration
ATLAS has measured the total cross section during the LHC Run-1 at $\sqrt(s)=7$ and 8 TeV and in Run-2 at $\sqrt(s)=13$ TeV using a luminosity dependent approach which exploits the relation ensured by the Optical Theorem between $\sigma_{tot}$ and the imaginary part of the scattering amplitude in the forward direction. To reach values of the Mandelstam variable $-t$ down to $2.5 \times 10^{-4} \mathrm{GeV}^2$ needed to probe the Coulomb-Nuclear interference region of the elastic cross section, a small LHC-beam divergence is needed, which is obtained with special high-$\beta$* optics. Luminosity measurement at the HL-LHC with the ATLAS detector: Strategy and prototyping / Ripellino, Giulia (Uppsala University (SE)) /ATLAS Collaboration
The physics program at the High Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) calls for a precision in the luminosity measurement of 1%. A larger uncertainty would represent the dominant systematic error in several precision measurements, including in the Higgs sector. [...]
