External Mobility Programme

Every year, a significant number of highly-skilled staff members leave the Organization and offer their talents on the European job market. CERN is launching a programme aiming to help staff members to whom the Organization cannot offer an indefinite contract in the transition towards their next employment.

The programme, which is based on the establishment of a number of partnerships with potential employers in the private sector, will run on a voluntary basis. Staff members who have received confirmation that they will not be offered an indefinite contract and who are interested in availing themselves of the opportunities offered by the programme, are invited to enrol by following the procedure described at:

Applications will be processed in the strictest confidence by the Human Resources Department and eligible profiles will then be made available to partner companies for recruitment purposes. Any subsequent contact will be made with applicants directly by the partners.

The Human Resources Advisors (https://webh12.cern.ch/hr-info/hra.asp) are available to staff members for further information on this new initiative. The evolution of the programme will be monitored closely by the Human Resources Department.
