A lecture by Saul Perlmutter, winner of the 2011 Nobel prize in physics

The CNRS National Institute of Nuclear Physics and Particle Physics (IN2P3), Pierre et Marie Curie University and the Laboratory of Nuclear and High-energy Physics (LPNHE) are happy to invite you to a talk by Nobel laureate Saul Perlmutter.

 

Perlmutter shared the 2011 Nobel prize in physics "for the discovery of the accelerating expansion of the Universe through observations of distant supernovae."
He will give a public talk in Paris on 17 December at 5pm:

"Supernovae, Dark Energy, and the Accelerating Universe"
