(Anti)(hyper)nuclei production in small collision systems measured with ALICE at the LHC / Pinto, Chiara
The production mechanism of (anti)nuclei in ultrarelativistic hadronic collisions is under intense debate in the scientific community. [...]

The upgraded ALICE TPC / Hauer, Philip (Bonn U., HISKP) /ALICE Collaboration
A large Time Projection Chamber (TPC) is the main device for tracking and particle identification in the ALICE experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. In the upcoming Run 3, the LHC will deliver lead beams colliding at an interaction rate of up to 50kHz. [...]

ALICE - ITS3 — A bent, wafer-scale CMOS detector / Kluge, A (CERN) /ALICE Collaboration
ALICE is developing the ITS3 (inner tracker system) as upgrade of the inner layers of the presently installed ITS with the aim to improve the pointing resolution by factor of two and to lower the material budget to an unprecedented value of 0.05% $X_{0}$  per layer. Its three layers are based on Monolithic Active Pixel Sensors (MAPS) thinned down to 20–40 $\mu$m. [...]

Fast Interaction Trigger for ALICE upgrade / Slupecki, Maciej (Helsinki U. ; Jyvaskyla U.) /ALICE Collaboration
We present the structure, functionalities and the first in-beam performance of the ALICE Fast Interaction Trigger (FIT). FIT comprises three detectors: FT0, FV0 and FDD, which use Cherenkov and scintillation effects to detect charged particles originating from proton–proton (pp) and heavy-ion collisions. [...]

Collectivity in small and large collision systems at the LHC with ALICE / Gajdošová, Katarína Křížková (Prague, Tech. U.) /ALICE Collaboration
Interactions of protons (pp) or of a proton with a lead nucleus (p–Pb) were not expected to form a deconfined hot and dense matter, called the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP), which is instead produced in heavy-ion collisions. However, high-multiplicity events in small collision systems exhibit signs of collectivity, which are understood as a signature of the QGP emergence in heavy-ion collisions. [...]

Highlights of the production of (anti-)(hyper-)nuclei and exotica with ALICE at the LHC / Dönigus, Benjamin (Frankfurt U., Inst. Kernphys.) /ALICE Collaboration
Measurements of the production of light (anti-)nuclei and (anti-)hypernuclei have been performed in different colliding systems at the LHC, namely pp, p–Pb and Pb–Pb. The results of the production in Pb–Pb collisions of light (anti-)(hyper-)nuclei follows the expectation of the thermal model, whereas the production of nuclei in pp and p–Pb collisions shows a closer agreement with the expectations from coalescence models. [...]

The ALICE Inner Tracker System Upgrade / Ronchetti, Federico (Frascati) /ALICE Collaboration
The phase II upgrade of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN is planned under the assumption that the LHC will progressively increase the luminosity of heavy ion beams, eventually reaching an interaction rate of about 50 kHz in Pb-Pb collisions, i.e. instantaneous luminosities of L = 6 × 1027 cm−2s−1. [...]

Jet fragmentation in two-particle correlations in pp, p–Pb and Pb–Pb collisions / Vargyas, Marton (Jyvaskyla U. ; Helsinki Inst. of Phys.) /ALICE Collaboration
The per-trigger normalized associated particle yield as a function of the pseudorapidity difference ($\Delta\eta{}$) was measured in Pb-Pb and pp collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$~=~2.76 TeV. For the transverse momentum of the trigger hadron $8<p_{\rm T,trig}<15$ GeV/$c$ and the associated hadron $6<p_{\rm T,assoc}<8$ GeV/$c$ it is observed that the near side peak is narrower in central Pb-Pb collisions relative to the pp results. Future upgrades of ALICE for Run 4 / Krizek, Filip (Rez, Nucl. Phys. Inst.) /ALICE Collaboration
The ALICE Collaboration is preparing two upgrades for installation during LHC Long Shutdown 3. The first project is the replacement of the inner barrel of the Inner Tracking System (ITS) detector with cylindrical layers based on large-scale, wafer-sized, bent, monolithic active pixel sensors. [...]
