Search for Higgsinos in final states with low-momentum lepton-track pairs at 13 TeV
/CMS Collaboration
A search for the pair production of Higgsinos in final states with large missing transverse momentum and either two reconstructed muons or a reconstructed lepton (muon or electron) and an isolated track is presented. The analyzed data are proton-proton collisions with an integrated luminosity of 138 fb$^{-1}$ collected by the CMS experiment in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13~\mathrm{TeV}$.

Exploring the origin of D0 meson elliptic flow in PbPb collisions at sqrt(sNN) = 5.02 TeV using event shape engineering
/CMS Collaboration
The effect of the initial collision geometry on the elliptic flow ($v_2$) in events with prompt $\mathrm{D^0}$ mesons produced in $\text{PbPb}$ collisions at $\sqrt{\smash[b]{s_{_{\mathrm{NN}}}}}=5.02\,\text{TeV}$ is studied using data from the CMS experiment. Using an event-shape engineering technique, initial-state eccentricities within a given centrality range are systematically varied.

Search for a Higgs boson produced in association with a charm quark, decaying to two W bosons in the e$\nu\mu\nu$ final state
/CMS Collaboration
This note presents a search for a Higgs boson produced in association with a charm quark (cH) which allows to probe the Higgs-charm Yukawa coupling $\kappa_{\text{c}}$. Higgs boson decays into a pair of W bosons are considered, where one W boson decays to an electron and a neutrino, while the other W boson decays to a muon and a neutrino.

DeepMET: Improving missing transverse momentum estimation with a deep neural network
/CMS Collaboration
At hadron colliders, the net transverse momentum of particles that do not interact with the detector (missing transverse momentum) is a crucial observable in many analyses. In the standard model, missing transverse momentum originates from neutrinos.

Search for a low mass resonance decaying to $\tau\tau$ using data collected with a dedicated high-rate data stream
/CMS Collaboration
An inclusive search for a low-mass resonance decaying to two $\tau$ leptons is presented, probing the mass range from 20 to $60~\mathrm{GeV}$ for the first time at a hadron collider. The search uses proton-proton collision data at $\sqrt{s}=13.6~\mathrm{TeV}$ corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 61.9 $\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ collected by the CMS experiment in 2022 and 2023.

Identification of tau leptons using a convolutional neural network with domain adaptation in the CMS experiment
/CMS Collaboration
The DeepTau identification algorithm, based on deep neural network techniques, has been developed to reduce the fraction of jets, muons, and electrons misidentified as hadronically decaying tau leptons ($\tau_\mathrm{h}$) in the CMS experiment. The latest version of this algorithm includes domain adaptation by backpropagation, a technique that reduces data-to-simulation discrepancies in the region with the highest purity of genuine $\tau_\mathrm{h}$ candidates.

Probing thermodynamic properties of proton-lead collision systems via multiplicity dependence of average transverse momentum at the LHC
/CMS Collaboration
The possible formation of hot, strongly interacting matter in small collision systems has generated significant interest. In this study, the correlation between the average transverse momentum ($\langle {p_{\mathrm{T}}} \rangle$) and charged-particle multiplicity ($N_{\mathrm{ch}}$) is analyzed in proton-lead (pPb) collisions at the CERN LHC to explore the system's thermodynamic properties.

Search for dark matter produced in association with a Higgs boson decaying to bottom quarks in proton-proton collisions at 13 TeV
/CMS Collaboration
A search for dark matter produced in association with a Higgs boson decaying to a pair of bottom quarks is presented using data collected with the CMS detector in 2017 and 2018 at $\sqrt{s}$=13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 101.3 fb$^{-1}$. The analysis is performed in exclusive channels targeting both boosted and resolved b quark pair topologies, covering a wide range of Higgs boson transverse momentum.

/CMS Collaboration
A search for supersymmetric scenarios leading to compressed mass spectra is presented, using events with at least two low-$p_{\mathrm{T}}$ electrons or muons and missing transverse energy, in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13~\mathrm{TeV}$. This analysis is based on data collected with the CMS detector at the CERN LHC and corresponds to a total integrated luminosity of up to $139~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$.
