Performance of the ALICE Zero Degree Calorimeters in LHC Run 3 / Zugravel, Stefan Cristi (INFN, Turin ; Turin Polytechnic) /ALICE Collaboration
The Zero Degree Calorimeters (ZDC) of the ALICE experiment at the LHC were designed to characterize the event and monitor the luminosity in heavy-ion collisions. In order to fully exploit the potential offered by the LHC increased luminosity in Run 3, while preserving the time and charge resolution performance, the ZDC readout system was upgraded to allow the acquisition of all collisions in self-triggered mode without dead time. Measurement of strange particle femtoscopic correlations at the CMS experiment / Pradhan, Raghunath (Illinois U., Chicago) /CMS Collaboration
The two particle correlations as a function of relative momenta of identified hadrons involving KS0 and Λ/ Λ¯ are measured in PbPb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV with the data samples collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC. Such correlations are sensitive to the quantum statistics and possible final state interactions between the particles. [...]

Measuring the system size dependence of the strangeness production with ALICE / Nepeivoda, Roman (Lund U.) /ALICE Collaboration
The system size dependence of strangeness production in highenergy collisions was studied using Run 2 data from the ALICE experiment at the LHC. The analysis examines the ratios of strange hadron yields to pion yields as a function of mid-rapidity charged particle multiplicity ⟨dNch/dη)|η|&0.5, offering insights into the mechanisms driving strangeness enhancement across different collision systems (pp, p–Pb and Pb–Pb). ECON-T and ECON-D: Endcap Concentrator ASICs for the CMS HGCAL / Bergamin, G (CERN) ; Ceresa, D (CERN) ; Coko, D (Split U.) ; Cummings, G (Fermilab) ; Gingu, V (Fermilab) ; Hammer, M (Argonne, PHY) ; Hirschauer, J (Fermilab) ; Hoff, J (Fermilab) ; Kharwadkar, N (Fermilab) ; Kulis, S (CERN) et al.
With over 6 million channels, the High Granularity Calorimeter (HGCAL) for the CMS HL-LHC Upgrade presents a unique data challenge. The ECON ASICs provide critical on-detector data reduction for the 40 MHz trigger path (ECON-T) and 750 kHz data acquisition path (ECON-D) of the HGCAL. [...]

Performance of hadronic shower measurement with LHCf and ATLAS ZDC detectors / Kobayashi, Haruka (Nagoya U., ISEE) /LHCf Collaboration ; ATLAS ZDC group Collaboration
Ultrahigh-energy cosmic rays are measured by using air showers that generate many particles through hadronic interactions. Therefore understanding hadronic interactions is essential, especially for particle production in the very forward region, which contribute to the shower development. [...]

Investigation of early magnetic field and angular momentum in ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions via D+ spin alignment with ALICE / Sharma, Himanshu (INFN, Padua) /ALICE Collaboration
Heavy quarks, i.e. charm and beauty, are produced at the initial stages of heavy-ion collisions, on a time scale shorter than the medium formation time, and are sensitive to the initial angular momentum of the system and the magnetic field produced perpendicular to the reaction plane (defined by the impact parameter direction and beam direction) in non-central heavy-ion collisions. Recent conventional and exotic charmonia results from LHCb / Kang, Youen (Tsinghua U., Beijing, Dept. Eng. Phys.) /LHCb Collaboration
Quarkonia production in heavy-ion collisions is an important experimental probe that sheds light on the heavy quark interaction with the nuclear medium. The bound quarkonium states undergo dissociation and recombination in PbPb collisions, where they can also experience the initial and final state effects such as shadowing and co-mover breakup. [...]
