CERN at the Fête de la Science

The fifteenth Fête de la Science will be held throughout France from 9 to 15 October. In the framework of the festival, CERN will be organising activities in the Globe of Science and Innovation, as well as special visits.

Exhibition: A des années-lumière
From 9 to 15 October, this exhibition in the Globe will be open at the unusual times of 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. every day.

Outreach activities
Mini-Einsteins: physics concepts for the very young (4-6 years).
Wednesday, 11 October and Saturday, 14 October, from 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. For children, who must be accompanied by an adult.

Poussière d'étoiles (Stardust)
Come and see the tracks of cosmic rays detected by a cloud chamber and learn the basics of particle detection.
