CERN’s Athletes get ready for the new Atomiades

Have you ever heard about the Atomiades ?

The Atomiades are a sport competition bringing together European research teams organize in the framework of ASCERI: http://www.asceri.org/.

Three years ago, the Atomiades took place in Berlin where  CERN sent 52 participants competing in 7 different sports. You can find all the results of the Berlin Atomaides at  http://www.helmholtz-berlin.de/events/atomiade.

This year the event is organized by CEA Saclay on the 16th and 17th of June in Paris. CERN will send 65 athletes to compete in various sports ranging from athletics to sailing, from football to badminton. In total they will challenge their colleges from other institutes in 14 different sports.
