Hunting for Beyond-Standard-Model physics with the ATLAS detector at the HL-LHC. / Hayden, Daniel (Michigan State University, Department of Physics and Astronomy) /ATLAS Collaboration
The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) has been successfully delivering proton-proton collision data at the unprecedented center of mass energy of 13 TeV. An upgrade is planned to increase the instantaneous luminosity delivered by LHC in what is called HL-LHC, aiming to deliver a total of about 3000/fb of data to the ATLAS detector at a center of mass energy of 14 TeV. [...]

Search for chargino and neutralino production in final states with one lepton, a Higgs boson and missing transverse momentum with the ATLAS detector. / Schanet, Eric (Fakultaet fuer Physik, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitaet Muenchen) /ATLAS Collaboration
Supersymmetry is a promising extension of the Standard Model of Particle Physics (SM) as it provides a solution to some of the open questions of the SM. If squarks and gluinos are beyond the reach of the LHC, the production of charginos and neutralinos could be the dominant production mode of supersymmetric particles in $\sqrt(s)=13$ TeV proton-proton collisions at the LHC. [...]

Reconstruction techniques in supersymmetry searches in the ATLAS experiment / Akatsuka, Shunichi (Kyoto University, Department of Physics) /ATLAS Collaboration
Many supersymmetric scenarios feature final states with non-standard final state objects. The production of massive sparticles can lead to the production of boosted top quarks or vector bosons, high-pt b-jets. [...]

Search for chargino and neutralino production with three leptons and missing transverse momentum in the final states at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector / Trovato, Fabrizio (University of Sussex) /ATLAS Collaboration
Searches are presented for the direct production of a chargino and a neutralino, pp → $\chi^{±}_{1}$$\chi^{0}_{2}$, where the chargino decays to the lightest neutralino and the $W$ boson, $\chi^{±}_{1}$ → $\chi^{0}_{1}$($W^{±}$ → $\ell^{±}\nu$), while the neutralino decays to the lightest neutralino and either the $Z$ boson $\chi^{0}_{2}$ → $\chi^{0}_{1}$($Z$ → $\ell\ell$) or the 125 GeV Higgs boson, $\chi^{0}_{2}$ → $\chi^{0}_{1}$($h$ → $\ell\ell$). The final states considered for the search have large missing transverse momentum and three isolated light leptons (electrons and muons). [...]

Search for high-mass resonances decaying into leptonic final states using the ATLAS detector / Takubo, Yosuke (KEK, High Energy Accelerator Research Organization) /ATLAS Collaboration
Many theories beyond the Standard Model predict new phenomena which decay to well isolated, high-pt leptons. Searches for new physics models with these signatures are performed using the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. [...]

ATLAS Level-1 Endcap Muon Trigger for Run-3 / Kishimoto, Tomoe (International Center for Elementary Particle Physics and Department of Physics, The University of Tokyo) ; ATLAS Collaboration /ATLAS Collaboration
The LHC is expected to increase its center-of-mass energy to 14 TeV and an instantaneous luminosity to 2.4×10^34 cm^-2s^-1 for Run-3 scheduled from 2021 to 2023. An upgrade of the ATLAS trigger system is required to cope with the high event rate. [...]

Single-top-quark production cross section using the ATLAS detector at the LHC / Alhroob, Muhammad (University of Oklahoma) /ATLAS Collaboration
Single top-quark production cross section measurements in proton-proton collisions are presented based on the 8 TeV and 13 TeV data collected by ATLAS detector. For the production of single top-quarks and single anti-top-quarks through t-channel, the fiducial and total production cross sections, their ratio, as well as measurements of inclusive and differential cross-sections are presented.
