ALICE Highlights / Noferini, Francesco (U. Bologna, DIFA) /ALICE Collaboration
Deconfined strongly interacting QCD matter is produced in the laboratory at the highest energy densities in heavy-ion collisions at the LHC. A selection of recent results from ALICE is presented, spanning observables from the soft sector (bulk particle production and correlations), the hard probes (charmed hadrons and jets) and signatures of possible collective effects in pp and p-Pb collisions with high multiplicity. Overview of neutral-meson production in pp, p–A and A–A collisions at the LHC measured by ALICE / Peresunko, Dmitri (Kurchatov Inst., Moscow) /ALICE
Neutral pion and $\eta$-meson production in pp, p-A and A-A collisions at LHC energies measured with the ALICE experiment is reviewed. In pp collisions the measured invariant production cross-section both of $\pi^0$ and $\eta$-mesons is reproduced by Pythia 8 Monash tune while NLO pQCD calculations predict significantly higher yield. Exploring the phase space of jet splittings in pp and Pb–Pb collisions with ALICE / Zardoshti, Nima (CERN ; Birmingham U.) /ALICE
We report a series of recent jet substructure measurements made at ALICE, obtained using reclustering techniques. A variety of reclustering algorithms have been employed, with particular emphasis on the Soft Drop grooming procedure. [...]

Identified particle production in p–Pb collisions with ALICE at the LHC / Dudi, Sandeep (Panjab U.) /ALICE
The study of identified particle production in p--Pb and pp collisions provides a baseline measurement to be compared with Pb--Pb results. The excellent tracking and particle identification capabilities of the ALICE detector allow the study of identified particle production up to a very high transverse momentum ($p_{\mathrm{T}}$). [...]

Using di-hadron correlations to investigate jet modifications in Pb-Pb collisions with ALICE / Kim, Hyeonjoong (Yonsei U.) /ALICE
The comparison of jets measured in heavy-ion collisions with jets measured in pp collisions is a rich source of information on jet-medium interactions. These medium-induced modifications can be prominent at low transverse momentum $p_{\rm{T}}$, where traditional jet reconstruction tools are difficult to use. [...]

Open-heavy-flavour production and elliptic flow in p-Pb collisions at the LHC with ALICE / Terrevoli, Cristina (U. Padua (main) ; U. Houston (main)) /ALICE
Measurements of open heavy-flavour production in p--Pb collisions allow assessing the Cold Nuclear Matter effects due to the presence of a nucleus in the colliding system. Moreover, the study of a modification of the heavy-flavour hadrons transverse momentum in high-multiplicity p--Pb collisions can give insight into the possible presence of collective effects also in small systems. In this report, the ALICE measurements on open heavy-flavour production in p--Pb collisions at$\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 5.02 and 8.16~TeV are presented. Measurements of heavy-flavour decay lepton productions in Pb-Pb and Xe-Xe collisions with ALICE at the LHC / Zhang, Zuman (Hua-Zhong Normal U., LQLP ; Clermont-Ferrand U.) /ALICE
Charm and beauty quarks are expected to form on a shorter time scale with respect to the stronglyinteracting medium, Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP), produced in high-energy heavy-ion collisions. Therefore, expecting the full evolution of the collision, they are effective probes to study themechanisms of parton energy loss and hadronisation in the hot and dense medium, giving insight onthe QGP evolution and its transport coefficients. The heavy-flavour nuclear modification factor($R_{\rm AA}$) is one of the key observables whichallows investigate the interaction strength of heavyquarks with the medium constituents. We report on the latest measurements of the $R_{\rm AA}$ of open heavy-flavour hadrons via semi-leptonicdecays to electrons at mid-rapidity and muons at forward rapidity in Pb-Pb collisions and Xe-Xe collisions with ALICE at LHC.Comparisons with model calculationsincluding the interaction of heavy quarks with the hot, dense, and deconfined medium will be alsoshown..

Event-multiplicity and event-shape dependence of open heavy flavour production in pp collisions with ALICE at the LHC / Acharya, Shreyasi (HBNI, Mumbai ; Calcutta, VECC) /ALICE
The excellent tracking and particle-identification capabilities of the ALICE detector allow us to fully reconstruct hadronic decays of open-charm hadrons at central rapidity and to study leptons from charm- and beauty-hadron decays at central and forward rapidities ($y$). In this contribution, we present the latest results on the production of D~mesons reconstructed via hadronic decay channels ($|y|<$0.5), open heavy flavour hadron decay electrons at mid-rapidity ($|y|<$0.8), and open heavy flavour hadron decay muons at forward rapidity (2.5$<y<$4) in pp collisions at various collision energies.
