Search for jet quenching in small systems / Krizek, Filip (Rez, Nucl. Phys. Inst.) /ALICE Collaboration
High multiplicity final states of small collision systems, such as proton-proton or proton-nucleus, exhibit some signatures which resemble features associated with QGP formation in heavy-ion collisions, e.g., collective phenomena or enhancement in produced strangeness. At the same time, there is no experimental evidence for QGP-induced jet quenching to date. [...]

Exploring the $\Lambda(1520)$ resonance in high-multiplicity proton–proton collisions at LHC energies with ALICE / Padhan, Sonali (Indian Inst. Tech., Mumbai) /ALICE Collaboration
Resonances play a crucial role in probing the characteristics of the hadronic phase created in ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions. Rescattering and regeneration processes influence the measurable resonance yields and $p_\mathrm{T}$ distributions. [...]

ALICE Forward Calorimeter upgrade (FoCal): Physics program and performance / Inaba, Motoi (Tsukuba U.) /ALICE Collaboration
A new high-precision forward calorimeter (FoCal) is about to be installed in the ALICE experiment at the LHC during Long Shutdown 3 for data-taking in the LHC Run 4 that is currently scheduled for the period 2030-2033. FoCal consists of a Si+W sampling electromagnetic calorimeter with longitudinal and transverse segmentations (FoCal-E) and a conventional Cu+scintillating-fiber hadronic calorimeter (FoCal-H). [...]

Study of $\gamma\gamma\to\gamma\gamma$ processes in UPC with future FoCal and ALICE 3 detector / Jucha, Pawel (Cracow, INP) ; Klusek-Gawenda, Mariola (Prague, Tech. U.) ; Szczurek, Antoni (Cracow, INP) /ALICE Collaboration
It was discussed how planned facilities may provide new information on $\gamma\gamma \to \gamma\gamma$ scattering in UPC of heavy ions. In some regions at the phase space, the hadronic excitation of both photons could be seen as a 10\% modification of the cross section with respect to the calculations with only boxes. [...]

Femtoscopic measurement of proton source in pp collisions at \( \sqrt{s} = 900 \, \text{GeV} \) with ALICE / Tomassini, Sofia (Bologna U.) /ALICE Collaboration
The study of momentum correlations between nucleon pairs can provide input for describing the formation of light nuclei, such as deuterons, through the coalescence of protons and neutrons into bound states. The femtoscopy technique is applied to measure the correlation in momentum between protons emitted after the hadronization phase of a hadronic collision. [...]

Particle production as a function of charged-particle flattenicity in small collision systems with ALICE / Bencedi, Gyula (Budapest, RMKI) /ALICE Collaboration
Event classifiers based on charged-particle multiplicity have been extensively used in pp collisions at the LHC. However, a drawback of the multiplicity-based event classifiers is that selected samples at high charged-particle multiplicity are biased towards hard processes. [...]
