Search for exotic long-lived particles at CLIC / Kucharczyk, Marcin (Polish Academy of Sciences (PL)) ; Goncerz, Mateusz Jacek (Polish Academy of Sciences (PL)) A study of the sensitivity of the CLIC_ILD detector model for massive long-lived particles produced in the decay of the Higgs boson is presented, using a data sample of e+e− collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 350 GeV and $\sqrt{s}$ = 3 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1 ab$^{−1}$ and 3 ab$^{−1}$, respectively. The sensitivity range covers long-lived particle lifetimes from 1 to 300 ps, masses between 25 and 50 GeV, and a parent Higgs mass of 126 GeV. Cornering Large-$N_c$ QCD with Positivity Bounds / Fernandez, Clara (Barcelona, IFAE ; BIST, Barcelona) ; Pomarol, Alex (Barcelona, IFAE ; BIST, Barcelona ; Barcelona, Autonoma U. ; CERN) ; Riva, Francesco (Geneva U., Dept. Theor. Phys.) ; Sciotti, Francesco (Barcelona, IFAE ; BIST, Barcelona) The simple analytic structure of meson scattering amplitudes in the large-$N_c$ limit, combined with positivity of the spectral density, provides precise predictions on low-energy observables. Dead-cone searches in heavy-ion collisions using the jet tree / Cunqueiro, Leticia (Rome U.) ; Napoletano, Davide (Milan Bicocca U. ; INFN, Milan) ; Soto-Ontoso, Alba (CERN) We explore the possibility of using the dead cone of heavy quarks as a region of the Lund plane where medium-induced gluon radiation can be isolated and characterised. Amplitude analysis of $B^0 \rightarrow \overline{D}^0 D_s^+ \pi^-$ and $B^+ \rightarrow D^- D_s^+ \pi^+$ decays Resonant contributions in $B^0 \rightarrow \overline{D}{}^0 D^+_s\pi^-$ and $B^+\rightarrow D^- D^+_s\pi^+$ decays are determined with an amplitude analysis, which is performed both separately and simultaneously, where in the latter case isospin symmetry between the decays is assumed [...] CERN-EP-2022-246 ; LHCB-PAPER-2022-027. - 2022. First observation of a doubly charged tetraquark and its neutral partner A combined amplitude analysis is performed for the decays $B^0 \rightarrow \overline{D}{}^0 D^+_s\pi^-$ and $B^+\rightarrow D^- D^+_s\pi^+$, which are related by isospin symmetry. A truly cylindrical inner tracker for ALICE / Yüncü, Alperen After the successful installation and first operation of the upgraded Inner Tracking System (ITS2), which consists of about $10\,$m$^2$ of monolithic silicon pixel sensors, ALICE is pioneering the usage of bent, wafer-scale pixel sensors for the ITS3 for LHC Run 4.
