Status and prospects of rare decay searches at ATLAS and CMS / Buonsante, Marco (INFN, Bari ; Bari U.) /ATLAS and CMS Collaborations
Rare decays with dimuon and multimuon final states provide clean tests of the Standard Model at the LHC. This proceeding summarizes recent ATLAS and CMS results on $B_{(s)}^0\to\mu^+\mu^-$, including branching-fraction measurements and effective-lifetime information, together with the first Run~3 search for $D^0\to\mu^+\mu^-$ and the full Run~2 angular analysis of $B^0\to K^{*0}\mu^+\mu^-$. Upgrade of the CMS Muon System with GEM Detectors / Thakur, Shalini (Tarapaca U.) /CMS Collaboration
The CMS detector is being upgraded for the High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) run to begin in 2030. As part of the upgrade, the forward muon system is being strengthened with Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM) detectors to ensure robust performance in high-luminosity and high-background conditions in the forward region of the CMS detector. Review of flavour physics at ATLAS and CMS / Lyon, Anne-Mazarine (CERN) /ATLAS and CMS Collaborations
A review of recent results in flavour physics at the ATLAS and CMS experiments is presented. These include measurements of quarkonia and charm production cross sections, the $B^0$ lifetime, and the mass splittings between excited and ground B~meson states. [...]

Operational performance of the CMS Strip Tracker during LHC Run 3 / Sneh Shuchi Sneh /CMS Collaboration
The CMS silicon strip tracker consists of the inner barrel (TIB), inner discs (TID), outer barrel (TOB), and end-cap (TEC) sub-detectors, providing precise measurements for charged particle trajectories up to a pseudorapidity range of $\lvert \eta \rvert < 2.5$. During Run 3 with proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13.6~\mathrm{TeV}$, the CMS strip tracker continues to perform exceedingly well superseding its design goals. [...]

Moving tons of fragile crystals with care: the CMS ECAL Enfourneur2 project / Bianco, Roberta (INFN, Rome)
The CMS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider features a high-precision electromagnetic calorimeter (ECAL) made of 61,200 lead tungstate crystals in its central (barrel) part. The crystals are both heavy and fragile, requiring extreme care during handling. [...]

Background Particle Response of CMS GEM Detectors with Run 3 Data and Simulation / Sheokand, Tanvi (Panjab U.) /CMS Collaboration
The upgrade of the High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) will boost the instantaneous luminosity to 5-7 $\times$ 10$^{34}$ cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$, increasing particle fluxes in the forward region of the CMS detector. High particle fluxes can damage electronics and induce spurious signals. [...]

New measurements of single top and $\mathrm{t \bar{t}}$ production at ATLAS and CMS / Jeppe, Laurids (CERN) /ATLAS and CMS Collaborations
Recent measurements of single top and $\mathrm{t \bar{t}}$ production at the ATLAS and CMS experiments are summarized. Topics covered are a measurement of $t$-channel single top production at $\sqrt{s} = 5.02\,\mathrm{TeV}$, differential $t$-channel cross sections at $\sqrt{s} = 13\,\mathrm{TeV}$, $\mathrm{WbW\bar{b}}$ differential cross sections in the dilepton and lepton+jets channels probing on- and off-shell top contributions, the most precise inclusive $\mathrm{t \bar{t}}$ cross section measurement to date, the first observation of $\mathrm{t \bar{t}}$ production in PbPb collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{NN}}} = 5.36\,\mathrm{TeV}$, a combined ATLAS+CMS measurement of the $\mathrm{t \bar{t}}$ spin-correlation observable $\Delta \varphi_{\ell\ell}$, and a characterization of the quantum state of the $\mathrm{t \bar{t}}$ system based on the spin density matrix..

Study of the thermodynamic properties of hot QCD matter in the CMS experiment / Bernardes, Cesar Augusto (SAO_PAULO) /CMS Collaboration
These proceedings summarize recent CMS measurements at the LHC that extract the squared speed of sound, \(c_s^2\), of strongly interacting matter at extreme temperatures from the multiplicity dependence of the mean transverse momentum in ultra-central lead-lead (PbPb) collisions at \(\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}} = 5.02\ \mathrm{TeV}\). The analysis yields \(c_s^2 = 0.241 \pm 0.002\, (\mathrm{stat}) \pm 0.016\, (\mathrm{syst})\) at an effective temperature of \(T_{\mathrm{eff}} = 219 \pm 8\, (\mathrm{syst})\ \mathrm{MeV}\), in good agreement with lattice-QCD calculations. Hot QCD matter probed via measurements of the speed of sound with CMS / Padula, Sandra (SAO_PAULO) /CMS Collaboration
A hot and dense quark-gluon medium is observed to be created in ultrarelativistic nuclear collisions, exhibiting striking collective flow behavior, with fluid-like properties well described by relativistic hydrodynamics, with minimal viscous dissipation. The characteristics of this medium are under intense investigation, and in particular, its thermodynamical properties. [...]

Reliability assessment of CMS Drift Tubes readout electronics for the HL-LHC upgrade / Toffano, Marco (INFN, Padua)
The new readout electronics of the CMS Drift Tubes detector has been evaluated in terms of its reliability. Starting with a brief overview of the main functionalities of the board, operating requirements and critical elements, an initial estimate of the hardware robustness with respect to expected faults over time is then presented.
