Proposal on application of the multi-wire proportional chambers of the LHCb MUON Detector at very high rates for the future upgrades / Bondar, N. (St. Petersburg, INP ; CERN) ; Ilin, D. (St. Petersburg, INP) ; Maev, O. (St. Petersburg, INP)
The MUON Detector (MD) of LHCb is one of the largest instruments of this kind worldwide, and one of the most irradiated. It has performed exceptionally well during the RUN1 and RUN2 of the LHC at an instantaneous luminosity of 4$\times$10$^{32}$ cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$, with tracking inefficiencies at the level of 1$\%$ and 2.6$\%$, respectively. Modeling Double Parton Scattering at LHC / Pancheri, Giulia (INFN, Naples) ; Grau, Agnes (Granada U., Theor. Phys. Astrophys.) ; Pacetti, Simone (Perugia U.) ; Srivastava, Yogendra N. (Perugia U.)
We examine present data for double parton scattering at LHC and discuss their energy dependence from its earliest measurements at the ISR. Different models for the effective cross-section are considered and their behavior studied for a variety of selected final states. [...]

Stellar Signatures of Inhomogeneous Big Bang Nucleosynthesis / Arbey, Alexandre (IP2I, Lyon ; CERN ; IUF, Paris) ; Auffinger, Jérémy (IP2I, Lyon) ; Silk, Joseph (Paris, Inst. Astrophys. ; Johns Hopkins U. ; Oxford U.)
We evaluate abundance anomalies generated in patches of the universe where the baryon-to-photon ratio was locally enhanced by possibly many orders of magnitude in the range $\eta = 10^{-10} - 10^{-1}$. Our study is motivated by the possible survival of rare dense regions in the early universe, the most extreme of which, above a critical threshold, collapsed to form primordial black holes. [...]

Examining the $N$ = 28 shell closure through high-precision mass measurements of $^{46-48}$Ar / Mougeot, M. (CSNSM, Orsay) ; Atanasov, D. (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst. ; Dresden, Tech. U.) ; Barbieri, C. (Surrey U.) ; Blaum, K. (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Breitenfeld, M. (CERN) ; de Roubin, A. (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Duguet, T. (IRFU, Saclay ; Leuven U.) ; George, S. (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Herfurth, F. (Darmstadt, GSI) ; Herlert, A. (FAIR, Darmstadt) et al.
The strength of the $N$ = 28 magic number in neutron-rich argon isotopes is examined through high-precision mass measurements of $^{46-48}$Ar, performed with the ISOLTRAP mass spectrometer at ISOLDE/CERN. The new mass values are up to 90 times more precise than previous measurements. [...]

A simulation tool based on GEMC framework to describe the MRPC telescope of the Extreme Energy Events (EEE) Project is presented. The EEE experiment is mainly devoted to the study of the secondary cosmic muons by using MRPC telescope distributed in high schools and research centres in Italy and at CERN. [...]

Exclusive and diffractive $\gamma \gamma$ production in $PbPb$ collisions at the LHC, HE - LHC and FCC / Coelho, R.O. (Pelotas U.) ; Gonçalves, V.P. (Pelotas U.) ; Martins, D.E. (Rio de Janeiro Federal U.) ; Rangel, M. (Rio de Janeiro Federal U.)
In this paper we present a detailed analysis of the contribution of the Light -- by -- Light (LbL), Durham and double diffractive processes for the diphoton production in ultraperipheral $PbPb$ collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), High -- Energy LHC (HE -- LHC) and Future Circular Collider (FCC). The acceptance of the central and forward LHC detectors is taken into account and predictions for the invariant mass, rapidity, transverse momentum and acoplanarity distributions are presented. [...]

Coupled channel analysis of ${\bar{p}p}\,\rightarrow \,\pi ^0\pi ^0\eta $, ${\pi ^0\eta \eta }$ and ${K^+K^-\pi ^0}$ at 900 MeV/c and of ${\pi \pi }$-scattering data / Crystal Barrel Collaboration
A partial wave analysis of antiproton-proton annihilation data in flight at 900 $MeV/c$ into $\pi^0 \pi^0 \eta$ , $\pi^0 \eta \eta$ and $K^+ K^- \pi^0$ is presented. The data were taken at LEAR by the Crystal Barrel experiment in 1996. [...]

Simultaneous measurement of the muon neutrino charged-current cross section on oxygen and carbon without pions in the final state at T2K / T2K Collaboration
This paper reports the first simultaneous measurement of the double differential muon neutrino charged-current cross section on oxygen and carbon without pions in the final state as a function of the outgoing muon kinematics, made at the ND280 off-axis near detector of the T2K experiment. The ratio of the oxygen and carbon cross sections is also provided to help validate various models' ability to extrapolate between carbon and oxygen nuclear targets, as is required in T2K oscillation analyses. Scale setting for $N_f=3+1$ QCD / Höllwieser, Roman (Wuppertal U.) ; Knechtli, Francesco (Wuppertal U.) ; Korzec, Tomasz (Wuppertal U.) /ALPHA Collaboration
We present the scale setting for a new set of gauge configurations generated with $N_f=3+1$ Wilson quarks with a non-perturbatively determined clover coefficient in a massive O($a$) improvement scheme. The three light quarks are degenerate, with the sum of their masses being equal to its value in nature and the charm quark has its physical mass. [...]
