Rare and very rare decays of hyperons and heavy baryons at LHCb

This contribution presents the most recent results related to rare and very rare decays involving hyperons and heavy baryons at the LHCb experiment. The new results encompass the decays $\Lambda^0_b$ $\to$ $D^-_s P$ and $\Xi^{++}_cc$ $\to$ $\Xi^{'+}_c$ $\pi^+$, using data obtained from proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV during the LHC Run 2 data-taking, corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of ~ 6 fb$^{ -1}$. Evidence of the off-shell Higgs and Higgs decay width constraints at ATLAS

This paper reports a search for off-shell Higgs boson production and the measurement of the Higgs decay width using the full Run-2 $pp$ collision dataset,
corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb$^{-1}$, collected by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. In this analysis, the Higgs boson production modes include gluon-gluon fusion, vector-boson fusion, and VH, while the Higgs boson decay channels $ZZ$ $to$ $4 \ell$ and $ZZ \to 2\ell2$. [...]

CKM measurements and $CP$ violation in charm and beauty at LHCb

The excellent LHCb detector and data quality enable numerous measurements
with world-leading precision and searches in various decays. The latest results on the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) matrix elements and $CP$ violation in charm and beauty decays at the LHCb experiment are presented, including the first observation of a nonzero mass difference in the $D^0$ meson system, a more precise measurement of $\gamma$ $CP$, a new measurement of the CKM unitarity triangle $\gamma$ and the latest $\gamma$ combination with all LHCb measurements from both charm and beauty sectors, as well as two searches of $CP$ violation in baryon decays..

Given the present availability of high-gradient accelerator technology for compact and cost-effective electron linacs in the 100-200 MeV energy range, the interest for Very High Energy Electron (VHEE) radiotherapy (RT) for cancer treatment recently reached an all-time high. Particular significance is assumed by the Ultra-High Dose Rate (UHDR) regime where the so-called FLASH biological effect takes place, in which cancer cells are damaged while healthy tissue is largely spared. The measurements of J/$\psi$ production in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV with ALICE

In these proceedings, the latest charmonium measurements carried out by the ALICE collaboration at midrapidity and forward rapidity in Pb\textendash Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV, are presented. These include the recently published inclusive J/$\psi$ yield and nuclear modification factor ($R_{\rm AA}$) at midrapidity and forward rapidity, as well as preliminary measurements of prompt and non-prompt J/$\psi$ $R_{\rm AA}$ at midrapidity. Measurement of a caloric curve and chiral symmetry restoration with the NA60+ experiment at the CERN SPS

NA60+ is a new proposed experiment designed to study the phase diagram of the strongly interacting matter at high baryochemical potentials, ranging from 200 to 550 MeV. It is focused on precision studies of thermal dimuons, heavy quarks, strangeness and hypernuclei production in Pb-Pb collisions.These processes will be studied as a function of the collision energy with high-intensity Pb beams provided by the CERN SPS, performing an energy scan from $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}=6$ GeV (corresponding to $E_{\rm lab}\sim$20 AGeV) or even lower, if provided, up to top SPS energy ($\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}=17.3$ GeV, $E_{\rm lab}=$158 AGeV).The experimental apparatus is composed of a vertex telescope located close to the target and a muon spectrometer located downstream of a hadron absorber.
